fresnel is based on the stories "Les Petites Tristes or Through a Fresnel Lens: Tiny Tales of Woe" by Jill Summers. Jill was kind enough to donate her lovely work for complete re-structuring. The hope was that, through deconstructing, collaging and building a new composition from her sentances, we could come up with something that sits somewhere between a found recording and a poetic narrative, and remains true to the elegant density of her original work.
